Controlling Blood Sugars During the Holidays

With major holidays like Thanksgiving coming up, you might be wondering what you can do to help keep blood sugars under control with all the food that will be available to eat. One way to combat high blood sugars that might follow a big meal is to get outside and be active. Instead of staying inside and watching a football game get outside and play football with the family, or perhaps look into the option of doing a Turkey Trot that helps a charity. Not only will the activity help lower your blood sugars but it will also help create memories with the ones you love. Maybe it will even become a family tradition!
